My father bought a brand-new 7-speed bicycle for me two years ago. Once when going to a University lecture, I managed to lose the keys, rendering the bicycle permanently locked.
This month my father finally decided to take the bicycle to a locksmith to have the lock sawn off and replaced.
Only trouble is, he forgot what the bicycle looked like, and took someone else's bicycle instead. The owner reported his bicycle stolen, but luckily the superintendent was a friend of my father's and knew that my father had taken a bicycle, so he called him back.
We returned the bicycle and took one that I *think* is mine. It has the 7-speed dial that I remember, one that you turn backwards or forwards, with "4" marked in red. The one my father originally took didn't even have enough speeds!
