Ok, I've got this annoying thing called top text going on. I only know the name because that's what appears at the bottom of Internet Explorer when I hover the mouse over it. Anyway, it will choose what appear to be commercial-sounding words and link it to something that seems appropriate to them--"college student" is linked to something to do with student loans, for example. It's driving me crazy. It underlines all these links in a dirty yellow. And it seems like my computer, despite its pop-up blocker, has gotten a lot more pop-ups since Top Text appeared. Anyway, my point is, I want it to die. Can anyone tell me how to kill it? I would really appreciate that.

PS If anyone tells me to do a scan on my machine (I couldn't think of anything else to do), I already did. Nothing. And my virus program is updated daily.
