FQ2- can't defeat the drake

This is my inventory-
20 Onions
/ Crown of Destiny
/ Cross
/ Pliers
/ Sack
/ Float Ring
/ Roc Feather
/ Iron Support
/ Small Silver Coin
/ Sap Tap
/ Coconut
/ Sword
/ Silver Key
/ Bucket of Sea Water
/ Blue Rubber Ball
/ Sunstone
-and I've gotten the number clue twice from the
soothsayer. I don't think I can do anything else until I
get past the drake. Scouring the past posts seem to
indicate a sequence is needed but I've been fighting in
various combinations of moves for 30 minutes or so
with no luck. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
