The head certainly looked like that. The size of ours was about halfway between the chick and the hen in the picture. I've see adult peafowls and they are quite a bit larger than this one. It is probably about half grown. It sat around on the window sill for most of the afternoon, but when I touched it, it flew down and landed on the hood of the car. So I touched it again and it flew down across the back yard into the woods. Haven't seen it since.

Thanks for looking that up. I never would have thought of a peahen being around here.
