The poll didn't have an option for either "flea market" or "other" so I had to choose "jumble sale" which my old English schoolbook said was pretty much equivalent to "flea market". > > Where I grew up, a "flea market" was a permanent or semi-permanent establishment that sold the same kind of junk that you could find at garage sales.
That's what it is here, too. Thing is, I don't hold personal sales. Flea markets are the closest thing I get to holding such a sale, and this poll didn't have an option for answering so.

What, of semi-permanent establishments for selling such junk? Come on, think a little! It offers buyers a well-known place for shopping for something they might want, instead of travelling all over looking for someone who might be holding a jumble sale.

I don't either. I don't have a car either, though, so I don't mind.
