why dosn't the platform move? I have tryed to have sea water and sap in the bucket but nothing is happening. am i missing anything?

I have:
20 Onions
2 tree branch
sack
small silver coin
silver key
flot ring
sap tap
bucket of sap
bottle opener
cross
coconut
huge ladder (broken)
pliers
red potion
green potion
iron support
sword
rusty key
wooden plank (in the bog)
goo
sunstone
