In addition to slowing time, it would be nice to be able to speed it up sometimes, so that my perceptions are very much slower than the rest of the world. For example, earlier this week I had a twelve hour layover at an airport. There's really no reason one should have to experience each and every second of that in real time.

If the superpower was to change the rate of time, excluding you and what you interact with, then by speeding up and slowing down at appropriate times, you could manage to age at the normal rate overall.
