The other half of the Leviathan's amulet isn't an object that you can pick up. You're wasting your time combing level 9 for it, and you've obviously already found the way into level 10. You already have everything you need to begin exploring level 10 if you feel your party is ready, experience-wise, to do so.

I will say, though, that my very first battle with level-10 monsters came as quite a nasty shock. Be careful down there, okay?
