What is it with all these news sites making you register to read the news nowadays, anyway? I bet it's the first step in their nefarious plan... first they let you read the news for free... then they make you register, but it's still free... but soon they'll start making us PAY for free news! It's a conspiracy, I tells you! > > Gri"frothing"shny
Maybe it works like television. At first it was free. They had some good programs and they didn't cost you anything above the cost of a set, an antennae, and a few kilowatts. Now they have a hundred channels of nearly nothing and they soak you fifty bucks a month. Actually I get about 55 channels but only about 12 that I can stand to watch. I fear that the internet will go the same way as soon as they get the rest of the population hooked.
The Arabs know that trick very well. They held the gas prices down until those silly Americans bought millions of gas hogs. Then Bang! They popped us the a good one.
I also wonder if the internet is going the way of CB radio. The truckers are the only ones that use it now, because the rest of us can't stand the foul language. Who will use the internet when the spam/porno people have ruined it? How"waiting for nickels"ard
