I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks it should be "super power" instead of "secret power"?

I would pick the ability to control the thoughts other people think about you. Think of the implications that could have. You could influence that guy or girl you've got a crush on to ask you out by making him or her think about you often. Or you could give yourself a better shot at a promotion by putting your good points in front of the boss's mind.

And you could prevent people from thinking about you in ways you don't like. You could help prevent date rape, if you're a girl. You could decrease the chances of your neighbor gossiping about your last embarrasing waterskiing outing where your shorts lost their string and fell off while you were skiing.

It would give you power in a subtle way. To use it for good or evil...that would be the tricky part.
