sif: "As if!"
stfu: "Shut the heck up."
noob: "Newbie."

Dunno about ZOOMG, but I assume the "OMG" part is what it usually means.

"pwn" is a running joke in RinkChat right now. It's a typo for "own," which does not help sane people figure out what it means. Basically, "own" by itself is just like the exclamation, "Cool!" If you own, you're cool, although maybe "You rule!" is a better equivalent, though it's scarcely more comprehensible, I suppose. But if you own someone, you beat him, or if you own something, you beat it. You can own poker by owning your opponents when you play. And if someone owns joo (you) then he has beaten you at something and is probably gloating about it. An observer might exclaim, after witnessing a particularly cutting put-down, "Pwn3d!" to indicate his approval and appreciation.

These people are an odd bunch.

Anyway, I don't know if "pwn3d!" is supposed to be pronounced "owned," which it was supposed to be spelled like, but mentally I always think, "PONED!" which is a heck of a lot of fun to say, so sometimes in RinkChat I spell it exactly that way. The great thing about PONED! is how many levels it is removed from literacy.

PONED! -> Pwn3d! -> Owned! -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> ... -> I say, old chap, this fellow has emerged victorious from your competitive exchange with him.
