falling apart and making it rain, etc.

This may be my last post. My computer seems to be on the edge of a melt down. I may be forced to buy one that was made in the current century, and I'm not sure there is enough dough in the penny jar. I also need a new camera and a new printer. Thank goodness for Toyota. We have two with over 100,000 miles each and they both run just fine. Otherwise I might be on my way to the poor house.

Buying gas for my car is a real pain. The worst part is arranging financing. All of that paperwork! When I drive into a station, I can hear them singing, "Happy Days Are Here Again." That little car holds 18 gallons and I'm sure everybody in the petroleum industry is sending there kids to college on my money.

And now for something completely different. I have finally found out how to make it rain. We went for weeks without a drop, so one day I washed the car and the truck. That almost always works, but not this time. So I hooked up 150 feet of leaky garden hose and started watering the garden. Still no rain. So I went to the Home Depot and bought a five gallon can of sealer to put on our wooden deck. It has been pouring rain ever since. The instructions call for a thourghly dry deck with a 24 hour drying period after application. Next time, I'll buy the sealer first, and let the rain water the garden and wash the car.
