My mother used to get a kick out of showing my father's baby picture along side of my sister's. Both showed a 6-months-old, bald-headed baby, but my father's was taken in the fall of 1909 and my sister's in the summer of 1932. They looked like twins.

Grandma used to say that Julian's (my father) picture was used on a grocery store's calendar in 1910. She said everybody thought he was a girl because he was so pretty. Personally, I think all bald babies look like boys.
