Congratulations to the Grishny family! I am so happy that the labor went to well for you. Glad to hear you had a doula, they can really be helpful in labor. Next baby we have I'm thinking of doing it in a birthing center with a midwife and doula.

And here's a big "You GO GIRL!" for no epidural! The natural high I was on for about 30 minutes after Abby was born was SO worth not having an epidural. Plus I could get up and go take a shower almost right away. It was awsome!

Sorry to hear about the tearing, that's really painful. I had a bad tear with Abby, but better to tear than be cut, in my opinion! I hope she gets feeling better really soon.
