Hi I have the note which i have to take to the parents but cant get any further west,buying pie is not yet an option I'm I missing Anything?

i have
2 bronze coins
8 red gem stones
guards sword
stone of strenthing
food rations
rope
tinder box
sticks
string
wire cutters
key of opening
clear focus stone
map
magnifying glass
picture
note

p.s my crate is down the trap door at the shack do i still need it? many thanks for all your help...huggie
