You see, without doing down Norwich Union, which I'm sure is a fine workplace, given the choice between working there and going home to Colchester, I'd go home. I just don't think I would survive behind a desk at the moment...I'd rather work in a shop or a cafe I think...

You'd be right. Nice city, good pubs, good cinemas (especially when Cinema City, the art house cinema, reopens as the first completely digital cinema in the UK outside of London), theatres, nice people (apart from the person who smashed my flatmates boyfriends car window the other day), a castle that looks like it's made out Lego and a little road called Elm Hill that looks like Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter films. Just don't attempt Riverside on a Friday night (or any night really) if what you want is a 'quiet night out'. Girls in bikinis and furry boots dance on podiums in the 'lovely' club Squares.
I hope your computer installations went well, did you check out the climbing wall at the Uni? It *is* you that climbs isn't it? Or has my time away scrambled my head?
