No, that's a different Murphy who was resposible for a similar but vastly inferior quote and ended up having to leave the notable-sayings profession and take up furniture-polish-manufacturing (which he succeeded quite well at). The Murphy to whom we are referring was condensed by, I believe, the Dalai Lama in one of his less lucid moments.
