A photocopy of the marriage license works. Photos taken at the wedding (along with photocopies of your driver's licenses, so I know it's really you) also works.

For proof of marriage, anyway. I'm not sure what would be good for proof of engagement. And based on the conversation that's led up to this (I detected a slight note of facetiousness!), I think the proof would have to be pretty substantial. ;-)
