I wouldn't wish a hurricane on anybody. Well, maybe Osama.
I've never been to Manitoba. I flew over it once, but from 30,000 feet, it looked like nobody was home. There's not much chance of a hurricane there.
You've never been to Alabama? Beautiful state. I went through there a while back when all the spring flowers were blooming. The people are very friendly. It gets hot in the summer, but otherwise, the climate is great. You should see their Gulf Coast area. It's fantastic.
I've been to Huntsville a couple of times to see the space flight museum. Gotta go again sometime.
I used to go to Talladega, Alabama to watch the races, but it got really hot in the grandstand and the traffic was terrible. But the racing was great. TV doesn't capture the sound.
George Wallace is gone. Now they have Senator Richard Shelby who represents his state a lot better than Wallace did. (Yes, I just plugged a Republican! Can't believe I did that.) Howard
