There will be maps/diagrams of certain areas, but yes, you usually won't be able to get them right away, because that takes away a lot of the exploration stage. I don't think things will be as hard to visualize as in POA. What would be nice is to have the game actually do auto-mapping of areas you've been to, like some RPGs have. I think at least one text adventure system does this, too. It would probably be too much trouble in AGL, though.
