I had to get candle wax out of my carpet once. I put some old papers on the carpet, and ran a hot iron over it. The iron melts the wax, and the wax soaks up into the paper. You have to change the paper often. Another thing to note is to not hold the iron in one place too long, or have the settings too high. It will melt the fiber your are removing wax from, and make the paper stick to it. I learned that one the hard way.

In regards to tips on dealing with life transitions, if anybody knows any good ideas, I would love to know too!!
