I agree with you. I've cooled off a little since this morning (I wrote my admittedly hotheaded post right after I checked the results of last night's battle) and the thought "it's just a game" has been a wonderful salve to my bruised Monster Arena ego.

But I still think it sucks that, by the luck of the draw, strong teams who've been playing the game the way (I assume) you intended it to be played are being eliminated this early through the use of guile and trickery. Which is why I'm glad that the refinement process isn't over.

Anyway, I'm not ready to give up on the game yet. I'll be back again next month. Well, if I can be. I *am* going to be a little busy with life come June...
