No wonder cats have such an attitude...

My wife picked up this book called "How to Speak Dog", and I'm going to read it once she's done. I've seen the author of the book on TV, and he seems to be the World's Expert on Dogs(TM).

What worries me is that Grimmy is German (mini schnauzer), so I may still find myself speaking dog with a rather thick accent. Also, he never really speaks except to scare away intruders.

So far it's been easier to try and teach him English, though he seems to think "sit" means "stay". Once he's in a stay, we can't get him to do anything, including sit, so this will take a while to untrain.
