Could someone please help me with what to do next, I have tried going into the forest but I need a torch, I have tried jumping in the flat circle but always die

Inventory is:

Diving Mask
Pick
Life Preserver
Bucket

Free Trial Sword of Failing
Ticket
Food Rations
Rope

Magic Armor of Magic
Key of Questioning
Dead Fish
