I had a Commodore 64 until about 1993, when the old thing finally died. I kept the disk drive and my collection of software for it for a few more years in the hopes that I'd find a "new" one or a 128 at a garage sale somewhere, but I finally got rid of that stuff too. Then I found a C128 at a yard sale for $25 and cursed myself. I almost bought it anyway, but figured (probably correctly) that it would just be a waste of money for nostalgia's sake.

The oldest computer I currently own is a 486 running DOS, which I still hook up to my monitor and power up occasionally to play some of my older PC games such as Descent, Epic Pinball, Pirates Gold, and Warlords II.
