Wow, where to begin. I guess my all time favorite song would have to be "Sweet Home Alabama." It puts a smile on my face everytime I hear it. I guess it's because I'm originally from Alabama, but I don't know, I just love the song.
When it comes to favorite bands, I could never decide, but I guess I have several favorites in a few genres. When it comes to Classic Rock, I like to hear Skynyrd, of course, AcDc is always a favorite, Metallica (their old stuff that is) and Pink Floyd.
New rock I would have to say that I like Tool's sound the best but I also like anything by 3 Doors Down, Staind, and definately Godsmack (some of these bands does not reflect my beliefs, but I love the music). Also, I'm sorry to say but I can't stand Coldplay. Maybe I heard the wrong songs by them, but it's just not my cup of tea, especially the song "Yellow."
I listen to a good bit of Christian music also, but it's easy to give my favs. there. Third Day, 12 Stones, Casting Crowns, Michael W. Smith, Caedmon's Call, Big Daddy Weave, and MercyMe. I know there's a lot, but I do like them all pretty much the same.
I do listen to country, but I haven't liked that many songs since the 90's, or you could say since I heard one of the worst songs ever made, "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy." But I normally always like anything done by Garth Brooks (of course), Alan Jackson, John Michael Montgomery (his new song "Letters from Home" is awesome, I recommend anyone to listen to it, even if you're not a fan of country music), Tim McGraw's old stuff, Hank Williams, Jr. has some great songs, Clint Black is great, and I've always liked Randy Travis.
When I listen to the oldies, I love almost anything by the Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Don McLean (he's my mom's favorite).
I, on occasion, listen to a little gospel. I like to listen to symphony pieces, but I have to be in the mood for it. I do own the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, it's very peaceful to listen to.
That's pretty much it, I, for the most part, stay away from Pop music and Rap and I don't care much for techno music.
