> I presume you're talking about Murkons Refuge. If you are, then yes, the only way to get the key is to go back where you got it from last time. Any time a party goes to a location where a specific key or "item of access to somewhere" can be found and they don't have one, then they will find one there.

Of course, you'll have to kill whatever you had to kill last time to get it (unless you just found it lying around).

Keys and key-equivalents are never available in Shops. Everything else is, if you look often enough.

Oh, and there's only one key that's expensive enough to be worth selling. I'll let you figure out why.
