I remember April 1, 1957. That was the day our first son was born. He will be 47 tomorrow if my arithmetic hasn't failed me.

As for the spaghetti harvest, the first time I saw that it was a short subject in the movies circa 1947. It was set in Italy. Possibly it was a "Pete Smith Special" by a Smith named Pete. They used to show these short subjects between the feature and the cartoon or just after the newsreel.
