I think you're right about the volleyball team, and I can understand that, it's just the principle of the thing. Fortunately, we didn't pay in advance. Mom sent them a lovely flaming e-mail (she's German, so she does angry well, LOL) and is looking for someplace else to stay, saying she wouldn't stay there now anyway. Dad thinks we should call and tell them it will cost them $2400, the cost of the plane tickets, to cancel our reservation. My dad rules.

But yeah, we are definately letting them know how unacceptable this is.
