Then they go on to say it'll get worse and will never get better. Gee, thanks, parents-who-are-supposed-to-make-me-feel-better. Anyway, I'm afraid that my eye might swell up some more. I have a debate tourney, then a piano test by the end of this week, and it wouldn't be good for my eye to swell shut or anything. And I'm not sure it's a sty, since I don't know how a big pimple on the inside of my lid would feel like. I don't think it's what I have though. More like just it's swollen with some fluid...Every time I blink it hurts. Considering how much people (including me, of course) blink, it hurts way too much... ::sigh::

You haven't mentioned any redness of the eye, but I'm wondering if you have a type of Conjunctivitis, otherwise known as good ol' "pink eye". Allergic Conjunctivitis has a symptom of swolen eyelids though it usually affects both eyes. Though you could have either of the other types (virul, bacterial). They can often be caused by what you're parents described, touching something with germs, then your eye.

Anyway, the link below might give you a hint as to whether or not this is what you have. Beware though, there is a picture of an eye on there that seems like it's in an advanced stage. I've never had pink eye that made my eye look quite that bad.
