If not... last I checked, this board didn't provide hints for non-Rinkworks games. > > Hey, gremlinn - do you know what jade/Icewind is referring to? > > -Mandi aka Chaos
I checked it out, since this is the second time someone has asked about it on ths forum. Here's what I found out so far: there's a single-player text-based RPG called Fantasy Quest (currently v1.1.4) which can be found at download.com. It's not at all related to the AGL Fantasy Quest, and it's much more of a D&D-style combat game. Looks like it is popular -- the listing shows over 172,000 downloads in under four months. It looks like it's probably around 3 years old, in which case the AGL FQ is the older game.
The first two dungeon levels (out of ten) are available in the shareware version, and you have to pay $10 to register -- it says they'll then send you a registration code to unlock the rest of the game.
Since their website at http://www.fantasyquest.net seems to have been taken down, perhaps they've stopped providing support for the game. All I can say is that this Fantasy Quest game is not at all related to RinkWorks, so it's unlikely that anyone here will be able to provide a registration code (and wouldn't that be considered piracy?)
