I and my father once went to a gas station in Espoo, Finland. My father needed to have his car's sparkplugs checked, and wanted to buy new ones just in case. So he asked the staff to check the sparkplugs.
Turned out no one of them had even *HEARD* of a "sparkplug". This on a gas station, for cars. Amazing.
