I tried the calendar thing and it worked. Now why didn't I think of that?

Have you ever heard of an accidental minor in English? I stumbled into one because I kept taking English courses as electives, and when I was a senior I realized I was only three quarter-hours away from a minor. So I took another class.

The reason I was taking English when my minor was Elementary Education, was that I liked to read and there were all kinds of literature courses in the catalog. And I needed electives.

Some of the smartest things I ever did were things I stumbled into when I wasn't paying attention. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart.

I didn't even notice the five-Sunday February until my 88-year-old mother-in-law mentioned it. She doesn't overlook anything.
