ending that follows suit?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I suppose
that if the director of Capricorn One had
chosen to include another scene instead of
ending it where he did, it could have come off
as cliched, but I have to think he could have
done it quite well also, based on some the
movie's better moments.

> Have to disagree with you there. Yes, the
roll of the credits is disconcerting at first, but I
think it's one of the most elegant things about
it. It's been a decade and a half since I saw it,
and though I remember it quite well, the final
freeze frame remains the most indelible
image. Is it necessary to spell out the details
of what follows? All it could be is plot
mechanics. The real story is over.

Is it? It wasn't for me. There were still some
loose ends I'd have liked to have seen tied up.
And the stop-motion photography at the end
reminded me of the end of an episode of
CHiPs.

Heh, I had a feeling I'd be hearing from you
shortly after I posted it and then saw that you'd
given it a fairly high review on At-A-Glance.
Guess I should've looked up your review
*before* I posted mine.

Well, we can't agree on everything, right? This
would be a pretty boring world if we did.

Gri"tonight, it's either _Holes_ or _Adam's
