you attack the guard w/ the dagger. always try everything. u can't really loose in this game. the bench is back at the beginning of the garden. u would go north then east. look south of the bench. be sure and check out south of the sunflowers. but if you are already in the castle i believe you have already found that coin and gotten something from the soothsayer. be sure and update your inventory if u need more help.
