One, obviously, is the instructions you get from Johnson -- four boosters point so as to provide a push in the direction the station is already rotating, and the other two point in a direction opposite to those first four (think of the last two as potential "brakes" if the station is found to be rotating too fast). But if you were going to apply these "brakes", you'd want to have them located exactly opposite one another on the station -- three positions apart -- so that there's no net force (just a torque) applied to the station. This keeps the station from drifting off in the wrong direction.

Along with the other information telling you which meridian various places are located, you can find out which direction the station rotates (and then apply the main clue, the instructions). Alternatively, you can go and talk to the clerk in Docking Bay A, and he'll tell you which direction this is, plain and simple.

The two "braking" boosters face in the same direction, and yet they counterbalance so that when applied at the same time, there's no net force on the station (i.e., they point in opposite directions). The reason for this is that "direction" is used in terms of the local directions "north", "south", "west", and "east" in the first case, and it's used in the usual 3-D sense in the second case.

Ill probs still need help with the power conduct job too tho - so dont go anywhere! lol

Sure, no problem. There are many more posts about the conduits on the forum if you need help. Make sure you can visualize the layout and the rules, and it might not be as hard as it seems at first.
