Sigh. We're coming up on the end of the year, and things are really getting down to the wire. I'm beginning to wonder about my December 31, 1999, deadline. I really really really don't want to spill over into January, given that I've had this deadline in mind since November last year. I will, though, if it means keeping the deadline also means sacrificing quality. But I'm not ready to push things out yet.

Since the last update, I had something like 61 locations finished. Since then I've been extremely busy with other things and had to put the game aside. Nonetheless, I've got 68 done now, which is exactly one location shy of completing the middle third of the game. I hope to wrap that up by this weekend at the latest, then plunge into the final third. After I get started on that, it'll be much easier for me to estimate how much work is left to go.
