ToA, STUCK!! help PLEASE!!!!!!

This is silly,but i'm stuck at the start. I have 3 rocks. The fire is finished and the firemen gone. I vandalised library and got nowhere. WHAT DO I DO NOW????????? I think ii need a backpack but how do i get it? please help. x
