This isn't 1700 -- I don't think there's a huge animosity between Protestants and Catholics. I'd be surprised if there were many Protestsants who "don't like that he still takes Mass." Likewise, though the Catholic Church has wavered a bit on how fully it embraces Protestants throughout the years, I doubt many Catholics are very bothered by a Protestant president.

In fact, among the major Christian sects, there is quite a bit of acceptance of the other major sects as sharing the same religion with only dogmatic differences. Modern Christianity (in America anyway) is fairly liberal in that regard.
