OH, YES. You'll meet an intriguing, long-winded fellow who will not only open the door to new abilities, but the last chunk of the game as well. :)

I'm curious. The man of whom I believe you spoke was not accesed through either of the dragon caves, but somewhere else nearby. Since the first thing I did after meeting the wraith was fight the dragon, I don't know what I would have seen if I'd gone the other way prior to killing the dragon. Was the old man somehow unaavailable? Or not as talkative?
