y'know, i was thinking about that this weekend. i went to wal-mart, and in one of the fish tanks, there were 5 dead fish floating, being eaten (or at least nibbled at) by their livelier fellows. it made me really glad to be at the top of the food chain (at least in the midwest, there aren't a lot of things around that want me for lunch) and of a species that doesn't go in much for canibalizm.
