Yeah, I agree. I was a BBS fiend back in the day (before the internet existed as such), and most of our message boards would degenerate into mindlessness and flaming very quickly; it took forever to find any actual intelligent conversation, and it never would last. This forum, however, has had some very wonderful discussion over its lifetime, and it has avoided falling prey to stupidity - it even survived *me* intact! ;-}
