If anyone is near Bealton, VA, I highly recommend a trip to the Bealeton Flying Circus and an acrobatic ride in a Stearman. I've done it twice and it's nothing short of amazing. The Old Rhinebeck Aerodome in Rhinebeck, NY is also excellent. Great air show and a chance to take a non-acrobatic flight out over the Hudson River. As a going away gift, the crew from my (now former) lab gave me an hour's free flight time here in Maine. Still need to cash it in and hope to do so soon. Hope to start lessons in the spring.
