so much for scooter weather

I knew some day that I'd do it. I wrote a message for the scooter forum and when I started to post it, I saw that I was still on RinkWorks. At least I caught it before I posted. Aw heck, I'll just post it anyway:
Well, I guess that's it for scooter weather. It's raining and cold and going to get colder. No more stock car racing until Feb.
So I took a tour of my shop to see what the easy projects are. If I do those first, I'll have room to work.
I need to get that Maytag engine out of the floor until I can find the gaskets to put it back together. Then there is that little red wagon that needs to be painted and reassembled.
I'm considering disassembling the '57 RoadKing, so I can store it in the shed with the other large parts. I only plan to work on the hubs of that one this winter. The brake is dragging so badly it won't roll. I guess I'm using it for practice before I tear into the 60 series.
All the Honda needs is a new plug, I think (I hope). I guess I need to make a list. The first thing is to get the flower pots out of the floor.
Is it just me, or is the off-season the same for everybody else? Howard
