This movie looks like it's not going to be very deep or ask any big questions, but that it will be a fun little exercise in being creepy. I like that, so I'll probably see it.

No sir.

Maybe if they went to the future instead of the past I'd see it. Or back to the Vikings or something. But medieval is so overdone. I'm so sick of the freaking Middle Ages.
> Nov 26 - The Haunted Mansion
This one is an interesting thing for me. I'm a huge fan of the original ride at Disneyland, and so regardless of how I think the movie will turn out I'm going to go see this movie. To me from the trailers I get the impression that it will be moderate to OK. Not terrible, but not exactly Gone with the Wind either. And for Eddie Murphy these days, moderate to OK is pretty good.

. . .
> Dec 5 - The Last Samurai
This movie looks pretty neat. Not excellent, not overly thought-provoking, but neat. I'll probably see it too.
> Dec 17 - The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
ANOTHER one? How long are they going to keep making these things?
> Dec 19 - Mona Lisa Smile
I do not like Julia Roberts at all. Nor do I generally like social/political movies like this. Especially ones that take place in the past and cover issues that have largely already been reformed. I do like Dunst, though. And Stiles is a pretty good actress, too, I think, although due to her age I haven't seen a whole lot of her outside of playing high schoolers.

You had me at "Kidman".
> Jan 9 - Big Fish
I've never even heard of this one. Now I'll have to see it.
I was also looking forward to the Anthony Hopkins/Nicole Kidman mystery thriller "The Human Stain", except I accidentally read a spoiler, so now I can't.
