There is one more remarkable thing about that last post where I was telling about a long-lost classmate. I typed the whole thing on an old lap-top computer(A real fossil! It has Windows 95.)then I saved it on a little disk and brought it downstairs to the PC where I retrieved it, did a copy and paste, and then posted it here on RinkWorks.

Now that may not sound so remarkable to 21st century people, but I have been trying to do it for some time. I think I was saving it in the wrong word processing program or something like that, so I could never get it to work. But finally, the fog cleared and there it was. This means that I can travel with the lap-top and keep notes on all of the things I want to talk about when I get home.

Who knows, maybe I will learn to get on the internet with the lap-top and post while still on the road. Most hotels have internet connections, but you have to use your own computer. Some even advertise Free! internet access. If that happens, you will never be free of my drivel again.
