I went to a non-denominational Christian
school from fifth through twelfth grade, and we
had an entire-school assembly called chapel
once a week. We would open each chapel
service by standing and giving three pledges...
American flag first, followed by the Christian
flag, and ending with a pledge to the Bible.

I don't recall any of the churches I grew up in
having flags at all, but the church I attend now
has an American flag and a Christian flag.
However, we only do a pledge of allegiance to
the American flag, and then only in services
that are close to patriotic holidays, or on other
special occasions.
