Wow! This weekend rocked! We went down to Tuscaloosa for Alabama's Homecoming game and it was great! We didn't get to go to the bonfire because of my grandmother breaking her ankle, so, instead, we went to the hospital and visit her on Friday. She was doing good, they thought she might have had the shingles because she broke out in scabs on her back, but it ended up being a reaction to the medicine. But, Saturday, we left Douglas, Alabama at 6:30 or so and made it to Tuscaloosa at around 8:30 or 9 o'clock. I don't think we did anything except walk from then until 1 in the afternoon when we went into the stadium to watch the players warm up. That's a lot of freakin' walking.
The game was a good one. We didn't do anything except run the ball because our first and second string quarterbacks were out with hurt shoulders. So, that's right, it was up to Mr. Highschool to win the game for us. Oh well, we still won 17-3, so I'm not complaining.
I got to see a few players after the game, didn't get any autographs. I seen Bama's starting RB, Shaud Williams, and our 3rd string QB, Brandon Avalos. Shaud had way too many people around him for me to say anything to him, but Avalos only had a couple of girls so I told him "Good game" and kept walking.
It was great fun, I got to check out a lot of the campus. It's really nice there and you can really tell that football means a LOT to that school. But it's all good. I don't have anything else to say. All I know is that I'm beyond sore from walking ALL day yesterday and working today, so I'm going to hit the hay. G'night!
