> This weekend we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. We sent L'il Grish to spend the night at Grandma & Grandpa's house, and went out to dinner. We spent the night in a nice hotel, which was a surprise sprung on me last night by my wife. I had flowers, five peach-colored roses (one for each year), her favorite color, delivered yesterday afternoon. I bought her some cutlery. We had a wonderful time, despite my leaving my bag at the hotel, and her later leaving her purse at my sister's hosue, so that when we arrived home this afternoon, exhausted and ready for a nice nap, we discovered that neither of had house keys. It was fun, despite all the running around. But I think the nicest thing that happened this week was finding out on Tuesday night that Mrs. Grish is pregnant with our second child.

We're coming up on our 48th in December, so you have given me something to shoot for. About the roses; five roses are cheaper than four dozen! About the new child; thanks for doing your part to keep the teachers employed. About the forgotten luggage; be glad it wasn't a hotel on the other side of the continent. About the forgotten purse; thank goodness it wasn't left in a public place!
