Part of my list is a lot like yours, Iss. With some notable additions:

Ravel's "Bolero"
"Sheherezade"
Anything by Rimsky_Korssakov

Most anything by Enya (don't wretch, guys!)
Absolutely anything by Nightnoise.

"Money for Nothin" by Dire Straits, especially the "non-family" version.
"I Just Want To Celebrate" by Rare Earth
"All Day Music" by War (most anything by War)
Any ZZ Top tunes.
All Meatloaf's stuff.

A lot of the new stuff coming out by groups like Cake.

In fact, almost anything done well.
For example, give a listen to George Martin's "In My Life" CD. A lot of Beatles songs he produced covered by some of the most unexpected people. Like Jim Carey, Robin Williams, and Sean Connery. Really done well.

Ray Charles "My Life" (just a coinkydink!) is another.

Another CD worth a listen if your tastes are varied is "Country Rhythm and Blues". It's a collection of duets by R&B artists paired with country artists. Such as George Strait and The Staple Singers redoing The Band's "The Weight". And Tanya Tucker paired up with Little Richard.

So much for my left-field tastes, huh?
